Every single year, I think it’s finally going to be the year that I get my Christmas shopping done early. And yet, here I am on December 18, having ordered…almost nothing. So, since I’ll be spending today trying to cross all the names off my own gift list, I figured I might as well keep a running list for those of you in the same position!
This list contains a mix of some fully vegan brands, some vegan-friendly retailers, and some individual products I love and recommend. Please note, I compiled this list primarily based on information provided by each seller; I cannot personally guarantee any of these delivery times beyond what the sellers have promised.
As always, thank you for keeping animals in mind during this busy holiday season!
Pawj California: As I always say on Instagram, Pawj boots and slippers are my favorite brand to recommend, because the quality is beyond exceptional! They make vegan Uggs style boots and slippers, and they’re adorable. The pair I bought last year still looks almost new, despite me wearing them almost every single day in the fall/winter! Pawj offers USPS Priority Shipping, which I would recommend if you want to receive them in time! Use code THETREEKISSER for 10% off your order!
The Tree Kisser’s Amazon Shop: I’ve curated my own shop full of vegan products on Amazon, which I hope helps simplify your animal-friendly life! You’ll find categories like Best Vegan Cookbooks, Vegan Snow & Rain Boots, Cruelty-Free Beauty Products, Essential Cooking Tools, and much more! If you have Amazon Prime, most of these items will arrive before Christmas.
Vegetaryn: My new partner in apparel collaboration! Vegetaryn makes some of the highest quality and most creative (and sometimes hilarious) animal advocacy t-shirts and sweatshirts on the market. I recently launched this collection of designs with her to raise funds for Rancho Relaxo! Order by Dec 18 for guaranteed Christmas delivery (orders placed until Dec 20 may arrive in time, but aren’t guaranteed). Use code THETREEKISSER for 10% off your order!
Lemonbug: Stunning jewelry brand that raises funds for animals. I recently launched this collection with them to raise funds for Hand In Paw Rescue. My favorite piece is the gold filled Dogs Before Dudes ring, but be sure to look through their full site to pick the perfect gift! Shipping deadlines listed here. Use code THETREEKISSER for 10% off your order!
TOMS: Known for their one-for-one donation program. TOMS carries a wide variety of vegan styles for men, women, and children/babies. I’m a huge fan of their vegan slippers! The women’s and kids’ vegan styles are clearly labeled in the TOMS menu, but for the men’s you need to check the product descriptions for the word “vegan”. Hopefully that will be cleared up soon! According to delivery estimates, you should still be able to order economy shipping for delivery before Christmas, but you may want to choose expedited to guarantee it. PS: Check their 40% OFF section for great deals!
Hot For Food: Vegan Comfort Classics: I have, use, and love a LOT of plant-based cookbooks, but this one my brilliant blogger Lauren Toyota is by #1 favorite. Just the Oyster Mushroom Po’ Boy recipe alone is worth buying this book! This cookbook is equally perfect for both plant-based newbies and lifelong vegan connoisseurs.
Free People: In the past few years, Free People has majorly stepped up their vegan game! Just search the word “vegan” on their website to discover a big selection of faux fur jackets, vegan leather bags and shoes, and much more. Order by Dec 20 for delivery before Christmas!
Nordstrom: You can search the word vegan to find some of their animal-friendly items, but be careful- they’re not totally on top of the wool situation (translation: you’ll find items containing wool under the vegan search). Be sure to check materials lists before purchase! Order by noon EST on Dec 21 for pre-Christmas delivery.
Some of my favorite animal-friendly items from Nordstrom are the Thread and Supply “Wubby” Fleece Outerwear (I’m OBSESSED with their Brandon Fleece Jacket), the Ilse Jacobsen Waterproof Boots, the Free People Skyline Faux Fur Pom Beanie, and the Le Labo Discovery Set (luxury vegan cologne- I bought it for my husband this year!)
Pottery Barn: Pottery Barn has a great selection of faux fur blankets and vegan slippers! They’re having a huge sale right now, so you can find some great deals. Order by Dec 20 for pre-Christmas delivery. Today (Dec 18) only, use code JOLLY for free shipping!
Bhava Studio: My favorite luxury vegan shoe company, known especially for their boots and booties! Bhava was recently featured as one of Vogue’s top fashion items for 2018, so you know they’re legit! I’m told via email that noon on Thursday, Dec 20 is the deadline to receive your order in time. Use code HOL12 for 12% OFF any order, but many of the boots (like my favorite style, the Paris Bootie, have individual discount codes available on their product pages).
Sorel: Sorel, one of the top designers of winter snow boots, has a few great vegan options! Many of their products do contain leather though, so be sure to check on the product descriptions. Some of their confirmed vegan styles are the the Tofino, the Snowlion, and the Winter Carnival. Get FREE expedited shipping in time for Christmas until 10 pm PST tomorrow, Dec 19.
Petit Vour: Petit Vour has long been one of my favorite vegan retailers! Their website offers a huge variety of (always vegan, always cruelty-free) animal-friendly fashion, cosmetics, and accessories. I’m told they’re shipping out orders as fast as physically possible, and while USPS doesn’t officially give guarantees, orders sent through Priority Mail should almost definitely get there in time.
Genteele Super Soft Luxurious Sherpa Throw Blanket: We received this blanket as a gift for our wedding, and I rave about it all the time. Because I live with four small dogs (who are always cold), we own quite a few (at least 20) blankets, and this is the one that stands out. It holds up exceptionally well to being washed (over and over again), which is super important to me as a frequent couch dweller. Honestly, I’m shocked that this blanket doesn’t cost more; even if you don’t buy it for someone else, you should grab one for yourself! Amazon offers quite a few size and color combinations, and they’ll tell you on the product page whether or not your chosen combo should arrive before Christmas.
Heated Bird Bath: I’m always recommending this product to fellow animal lovers who have access to yards or patios. The squirrels, birds, and rabbits that live in my yard rely heavily on our heated bird baths all throughout the winter. If you know someone who likes caring for their local wildlife, this is an extremely unique and thoughtful gift! Per Amazon’s website, this will arrive before Christmas.
Give a Sh*t: Do Good. Live Better. Save the Planet.: “Give a Sh*t” is a hilarious yet crucially important book about all the ways, both big and small, that we can help protect the environment. Written by my brilliant friend Ashlee Piper, this book is ideal for anyone in your life who cares about saving the environment! Per Amazon’s website, this will arrive before Christmas.
Uncommon Goods: If you have one those “impossible to shop for” people on your list, Uncommon Goods is a great place to start. With incredibly unique and creative items including everything from Platters Made From Recycled Wine Bottles to Homesick Candles (that smell like your home state) to Female Empowerment Shattered Glass Ceiling Necklaces, they have something for literally any person you can think of. Not sure where to start? They have a super clever “Gift Finder” that will ask you a couple questions to generate a list of great gift ideas. Cutoff for standard shipping is tomorrow afternoon (Dec 19).
Birdies Luxury Slippers: The high end slippers made famous by Princess Meghan Markle! I’m thrilled that Birdies has so many gorgeous vegan options. Their line isn’t fully vegan, but they make it very easy to choose animal-friendly purchases by listing all of their vegan styles on one page. My favorite style is The Phoebe! Order by noon tomorrow (Dec 19) for delivery before Christmas!
Neewer Ring Light Kit: This isn’t really related at all to animals, aside from the fact that I use it when taking photos and shooting videos about animal-related issues. That said, this is a miracle tool for anyone who posts regularly on social media. I turn it on almost every time I shoot selfies or Instagram story videos, because it immediately makes me look more professional and, well, just better! Per Amazon’s website, this will arrive before Christmas.
I’ll keep working this list throughout tonight and tomorrow, so please check back!
Great Post! If you have a moment check out my blog as well!
