I’m a big fan of using physical cookbooks, but I also spend a lot of time exploring my favorite plant-based food blogs! There are countless websites out there that feature vegan meals, but I believe these five are the BEST!
Hot For Food is incredible. The chef updates often with really creative and delicious meals. She offers a mix of both health-focused salad style recipes as well as more gourmet, complex meals (and occasional “junk” food). It’s impossible to choose a favorite! Shown here are the Creamy Mushroom Alfredo, the Smoked Gouda Mushroom Chard Burger, and the Naked Chick’n Chalupa.
Olives For Dinner creates a lot of decadent, gourmet, flavorful meals. Every single one of her recipes has been a success in my home kitchen. My favorite of her recipes call for oyster mushrooms, which you may have to pick up at a local Asian grocery store depending on the season. Shown here are the Vegan Scallops in a Cashew-Bacon Sauce, the Air-Fried Buffalo Cauliflower Steak Sandwich, and the Pasta with Roasted Tomatoes and Chickpeas.

Plant Philosophy recipes are geared towards the crowd that’s health-conscious but doesn’t want to sacrifice flavor. Every recipe is as full of nutrients as the chef can possibly pack into the meal. She also creates a lot of gluten-free options, if that’s important to you. Shown here are the Rainbow Zoodle Spring Rolls + Almond Butter Dipping Sauce, Gluten-Free Chocolate Protein Pancakes + Almond Vanilla Probiotic “Frosting”, and the Thanksgiving Style Poutine.

Minimalist Baker does a lot more than bake! But she does stick with the “minimalist” label by creating recipes using 10 ingredients or less! I’m always impressed by how satisfying and flavorful these meals are, given their simplicity. Shown here are the Crispy Gluten-Free Eggplant Parmesan, the Pumpkin Mac ’n Cheese, and the Herbed Green Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette.
Post Punk Kitchen is one of my all time favorite websites. I own all of Chef Isa Chandra Moskotitz’s cookbooks, but I still go to her blog for my favorite recipes. She uses a lot of cashew cream, which happens to be my favorite ingredient in vegan cooking, so there are a lot of rich, creamy sauces and soups. Shown here are the Chipotle Mac ’n Cheese with Roasted Brussels Sprouts, the New England “Glam” Chowder, and the Puffy Pillow Pancakes.
